Nadia was a beacon of hope in the Yugoslav cultural scene. The young widow is now serving in the visitor service of a Swiss museum. The sisters-in-law give at home set the tone. Nadia’s grown-up daughter Era is driven by despair. All over sudden the nationalgalerie gets in touch with her again and Nadia effectively start to plan the resistance against her family prison. In the midst of a burst pipe and preparations for the Premiere party of her daughter and all along the lines of the women of Athens and Spartas.
